Air Sahara is talking to China-based airlines for a relationship aimed at growing operations out of the region.Air Sahara announced a flight connecting Delhi and Guangzhou in China yesterday - the first private Indian carrier to fly to China.Alok Sharma, president of Air Sahara, said the carrier had met some Chinese airlines and was looking at forging a relationship with them."Competition in future would come from Chinese airlines," Sharma said.Air Sahara would also explore the possibility of having a connecting flight from Kolkata to China in the future.The Sahara group airlines was ramping up international operations, Sharma said adding the ratio between domestic and international operations was 90:10 and would be changed to 70:30.Air Sahara is planning to use its second largest hub, Kolkata, as a gateway for China and South East Asia. Sharma clarified that was still a year away.
