A technical hitch hampered data services of Bharti Airtel postpaid customers in parts of Delhi NCR during the early morning hours, which was "fully restored" subsequently.
"Due to a technical issue, data services for our postpaid customers were affected in parts of NCR between 3.35 am and 9.07 am today," a company spokesperson said.
The services have been "fully restored" and are now running normally, the spokesperson added.
The spokesperson, however, did not provide further details on the nature of the technical glitch or the specific pockets of Delhi NCR that were affected.
Airtel, India's largest mobile operator, enjoys a 33 per cent market share, according to the latest data by cellular association COAI.
It added 2.4 million new subscribers in September, taking its overall customer base to nearly 260 million, from 257.5 million in August.
