Airtel digital TV launches on-demand video service

Customers iwll be charged per video on a-la-carte basis at prices starting at Rs 10, installation charge of Rs 125

Airtel digital TV, the DTH arm of Bharti Airtel, today announced a new feature on its HD and recorder set top boxes - On Demand TV. The new feature will enable customers to simply connect their STBs to their broadband connection and download videos including popular movies and series from an on-demand video library.

Customers will be charged per video on a-la-carte basis at prices starting at Rs 10 and an installation charge of Rs 125.

The launch of On Demand TV is an addition to the exciting features of the 3D ready Airtel digital TV HD, which also boasts of Dolby Digital Plus surround sound for a theatre like experience at home.
