AISATS has been appointed the official ground handler for the aircraft expositions in Asia, the Aero India 2013, scheduled to be held between February 6 and 10 at Yelahanka Air Force base, Bangalore. Following the success in the earlier two editions, Aero India has extended its collaboration with AISATS for comprehensive ground services at the show’s ninth edition which is expected to see around 52 civil and military aircrafts from leading manufacturers across the globe.
The biennial mega event to be inaugurated by Defence Minister AK Antony, will witness aerobatic displays by the Flying Bulls team from the Czech Republic, the Russian Knights team and the Sarang team of the Indian Air Force. Aviation aficionados will also be treated to Medium Multirole Combat Aircrafts (MMCA), such French Rafale and American F-16. AISATS will be providing on-site equipment and ground handling related services for all the participating aircrafts. Specialist aircraft ground support services such as Liquid Oxygen Upliftment, Wheel Inflation through Nitrogen, Accumulator Charging will be provided to ensure safety and efficiency during pre-flight services.
During the previous two editions of Aero India show, AISATS handled a gamut of aircrafts from across the globe such as the HAL Tejas, Sukhoi Su-30MKI, Boeing's F/A-18, Super Hornet, Saab Gripen and Dassault Rafale.
Aero India has emerged as one of Asia’s most important and largest military aviation exhibitions that provides a significant platform in bolstering business opportunities in the international aviation sector. The five-day event will witness the participation of over 600 companies and 78 overseas delegations accommodated over an approximate area of 1,25,000 Sqm.
