Ajuba Solutions India Private Ltd. (ASIPL), a revenue cycle management services to healthcare institutions in the US, today joined hands with C P Ramaswami Environmental Education Centre (CPREEC) at the C. P. Ramaswami Aiyar Foundation to flag off The Green Campus Initiative, which will generate consciousness and awareness for conservation of environment and monitoring its quality by involving selected colleges of Chennai city.
Ajuba’s decision on joining hands with CPREEC to set up an environmental monitoring system stems is to improve environmental standards and reducing waste. GCI’s eco-auditing system will impart systematic environmental management approach to students through hands-on experience. The MoU was jointly signed by the Director of HR - Ajuba, Hema Parikh and Joint Director – CPREEC, P. Sudhakar.
According to the a release, the objective of Green Campus Initiative (GCI) is to move from environmental education to action on the ground to promote sustainable and inclusive development of the environment. The program envisages a three phased approach – Sensitisation and Skill development on environmental monitoring to the relevant stakeholders, Environmental Quality Monitoring of air, soil and water through repeated tests over a period of time and Consultative Meets, to regularly train and guide students on the remedial measures and future course of action for the student community to maintain the environmental balance.
