High-end French and Italian luxury brands like Alberta Ferretti and Jean-Paul Gaultier will enter the Indian market by March this year, with their latest collection of designer apparel and accessories."Jean Paul Gaultier will be introduced in India in the first quarter of 2008 and will have two standalone boutiques in New Delhi as well as Bangalore," TSG International Marketing Founder and CEO Charu Sachdev said. India would also witness the launch of Alberta Ferretti first flagship store in the first quarter this year, she said, adding that the starting price point would be from Rs 3,000 upwards.TSG International manages and operates high-end luxury brands in the country. It is the exclusive franchisee distributor of Tommy Hilfiger clothes and accessories in New Delhi and the National Capital Region. TSG also has a tie up with Italy-based Aeffe Fashion group, the conglomerates owning several fashion brands like Moschino, Jean Paul Gaultier, Alberta Ferretti, Pollini among others."The year 2008 will be a very eventful one with the introduction of more brands and opening of new boutiques this year. We are looking at opening three standalone boutiques per brand by 2009 at various locations in India," she added.
