Ambuja Realty to invest Rs 500 cr in shopping malls

Real estate developer Ambuja Realty Ltd would invest around Rs 500 crore in developing three shopping malls under the 'City Centre' brand.

"We will set up three City Centres in Raipur, Haldia and Patna," chairman of Ambuja Realty Harsh Neotia said today.

He said that the Siliguri City Centre, to be operational from December, was being built at a cost of Rs 280 crore.

The other malls would be be set up at an approximate cost of Rs 500 crore, he said.

While the Raipur and Haldia malls are under construction, the ground breaking ceremony of the Patna City Centre would be done later this year.

Neotia said that the Raipur mall would be ready by December 2011 and the Haldia one by 2012.

Ambuja Realty had already built two City Centres, one each in Salt Lake and Rajarhat New Town area in the metropolis.
