Amul plans more launches in summer

The Gujarat Co-operative Milk Marketing Federation (GCMMF), the makers of Amul brand of products, has planned a slew of launches in summer.
 
GCMMF is planning to expand its basket by launching chocolate and coffee flavors of ice-cream soon. In the last few days GCMMF had launched two new flavors of milk under the 'Kool' brand and spiced butter milk under brand name of 'Masti'.
 
GCMMF added mango and strawberry flavors of milk variants to its existing range 'Kool' flavoured milk. GCMMF is also planning to supplement its promotional efforts with new outdoor advertising campaign.
 
"We plan to launch three new drinks including spiced butter milk and two variants of flavored milk for the current summer season," said R S Sodhi, chief general manager, GCMMF.
 
"We are also planning to launch two new flavors of ice-cream. We have received great response for three drinking products in initial days and expecting the same for ice-cream." However, Sodhi avoided commenting on sales targets set for the new products.
