"We hope to capture 3-4 per cent of the market share in this segment of FMCGS," Amway India MD and CEO Bill Pinckney told reporters here.
The company is also planning to launch more products, at least 3-4, in this category, he said.
"We have 700 patents to our names and produce 102 products in various areas like personal care, home care, cosmetics and nutrition and wellness," he said, adding that nutrition and wellness was the "champion category" of the company.
According to a release, Amway India is a wholly owned subsidiary of the $7.2 billion Alticor Inc of the US, which has invested over Rs 151 crore in India.
