Bengaluru-based LetsTransport.in, a very early-stage start-up engaged in truck-hiring services, has acquired Shifter, also from Bengaluru, in an all-cash deal. LetsTransport plans to leverage the consumer-facing capabilities of six-month-old Shifter, a mini-truck procurement service available online or on call.

Guiddoo, a travel tech start-up that has a mobile app with the same name, has raised seed funding from angel investors. Investors include Pawan Borle, senior vice-president, Fly Dubai; Abrar Ahmad, partner at Travel Capitalist Ventures; Nirmal Singh, Sanjay Shah; and Ushik Gala, who are chartered accountants.
