According to Anuradha, though employment and business opportunities in the beauty care market in the country was growing there were not enough institutes with international standards available to produce professionals in the field.

This new teaching facility, which is coming up in 10,000 square feet of office space, will not only have the fully equipped styling areas, designated work stations and specialised equipment and other modern facilities, but will also have a well-qualified faculty, including professors who teach health and anatomy related subjects, she said.

The courses, about 19 of them, would have a duration ranging from 80 hours up to 1,200 hours depending on the nature of the course. The fee would range between Rs 15,000 and Rs 1 lakh.

Anuradha said the company was in the process of getting affiliation from Cedesco and City & Guilds of UK. These entities would issue certificates for the courses run by Anoo's International Beauty School once they grant the affiliation, she said.
