Sharma who holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering and a master’s degree in operations management from Mumbai University, will continue to be based out of Bengaluru.
Presently, of Accenture’s five business groups, the technology services group is being headed by an India-born executive, Bhaskar Ghosh. Ghosh, who joined Accenture as a Lead of India Delivery Centre in 2003, was elevated to group chief executive of technology services in 2014.
