Apar Industries today reported a 247% increase in net profit at Rs 42.09 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2007 when compared with Rs 12.13 crore in the same period of the last fiscal.Total income increased 16.12% to Rs 420.06 crore from Rs 361.72 crore in Q2FY07.Managing Director Kushal Desai said: "The profits were on expected lines, and the company is confident of good growth over the next few years."
