Apollo Health and Lifestyle (AHLL), a wholly owned subsidiary of the Apollo Group of Hospitals, has announced plans to set up eight more franchise clinics in Gujarat - one each in Mundra SEZ, Vadodara, Jamnagar, Rajkot, Gandhidham, Surat and two in Ahmedabad - in the next three months. |
Talking to Business Standard, Alexander Kuruvilla, chief executive officer, Apollo Hospitals, said: "These clinics will be operational in the next couple of months. We have already three operational clinics in Gujarat, two in Ahmedabad and one in Surat." |

When asked about investments plans on these new clinics in Gujarat, Kuruvilla said: "At the initial level Apollo has plans of investing Rs 24 crore for these eight new clinics, Rs three crore for each clinic." |

Apart from these, Apollo has clinics in Mumbai, Kolkata, New Delhi, Aurangabad, Kolhapur, Nashik, Solapur, Bhiwandi, Indore, Nagpur, and in various other cities across India. |

On the demand of quality healthcare service in Gujarat, Kuruvilla said, "We feel that there is a great demand for quality healthcare service in state. |

"Moreover Gujaratis are everywhere across the world and know what quality healthcare means. The only change is that now, Gujaratis don't look to United States or United Kingdom as advanced medical facilities are available here in Ahmedabad." |
