"Apollo Tele Health Services, a group company of Apollo Hospitals Enterprises Ltd, has signed a MoU with the Common Services Centers Scheme of Government of India," Apollo Hospitals Group said in a statement.
This collaboration is aimed at providing primary, preventive and promotive healthcare through tele consultation to rural patients from telemedicine speciality centers situated within Apollo hospitals across the country.

It will run virtual clinics for patients using telemedicine technology.
Commenting on the development, Apollo Hospitals Enterprise Executive Director Sangita Reddy said: "Apollo's association with CSC is aimed to provide health care services to the rural parts of our country.
Apollo plans to make healthcare available to more than 1,00,000 CSC centres using the telemedicine platform under its Rural Connect program."
Telemedicine service offers the patients a platform for evaluation by medical experts and doctors without having to be physically present at a clinic.
