Apollo Hospitals group is planning to set up three hospitals in Maharshtra to expand its presence in the western region. "We are in talks with the Yash Birla group to manage their 250-bed hospital in Thane," said Prathap C Reddy, chairman, Apollo group. The Yash Birla group, which is setting up the Thane hospital under group firm Birla Infrastructure is looking for a hospital group to help manage the hospital.Apollo group is also planning to set up a 400-bed hospital near Mumbai airport with an investment of Rs 250 crore, informed Dr Reddy. And the third location has been finalised in Nasik for another hospital.
