The Andhra Pradesh Technology Development and Promotion Centre (APTDC), an autonomous body promoted by the Andhra Pradesh government, Confederation of the Indian Industry (CII) and the central government’s department of science and technology, has added two more products to the list of its geographical identification (GI) filings this year.

It will take another two to three years for the GI Registry in Chennai to grant the GI tag to them,” S Jyothi Kumar, director and head (APTDC), said on the sidelines of a seminar on the European patent system organised by the CII in Hyderabad on Monday.
