Aqua Logistics bags Rs 100 cr order from Gammon India

Leading domestic logistics and supply chain company Aqua Logistics today said it has received a Rs 100 crore order from Gammon India Ltd.

The order entails managing the logistics and transportation of aggregates from Gammon's quarries in Bihar. The order for management of logistics on National Highway-77 is to be executed over a period of 12 months.

"Our customer-centric and cost-optimisation approach not only helps us in designing solutions as per customer requirements, but also reduce transportation costs, which form a significant portion of corporate capex plans," Aqua Logistics' Managing Director M S Sayyad said in a statement.

Recently, the company board approved a proposal to raise funds to the extent of USD 70 million, or its equivalent sum of Indian Rupees, by way of issue of ADRs, GDRs, QIP, FCCB or through any other mode of securities in one or more tranches.

Aqua Logistics Ltd is a third party logistics service provider (3PL) delivering end-to-end solution in the logistics and supply chain domain to its customers. It provides supply chain consulting, logistics execution and project logistics.
