Array Networks Inc, a US-based provider of application delivery networking, has closed a $2-million (approximately Rs 126 crore) deal with the government sector. The WAN (Wide Area Network) optimisation order will cover deployments across 400 locations across various parts of India.

“This will be one of the largest deployments of WAN optimisation in India outside of the enterprise segment. We are confident that it will open up huge opportunities for Array Networks as we clearly demonstrate performance acceleration at both the applications level and WAN level,” Shibu Paul, country manager (India, West Asia and Asean), Array Networks, said in a release today.

Array Networks, which has over 5,000 worldwide customer deployments, offers its aCelera WAN series of products that have the common platform for unified management and plug-and-play upgrades.
