FMCG major Godrej Industries today said Arun Maira has resigned from the board of directors of the company consequent to his appointment as a member of the Planning Commission.
Maira resignation would come into effect from July 23, Godrej Industries said in a filing to the BSE.
Consequent to his appointment as a member of the Planning Commission, he is required to resign from all positions in the business sector including the boards on which he serves, the filing added.
