Ashoka Buildcon Ltd (ABL), a Nashik-based BOT (build, operate and transfer) operator for infrastructure projects, has registered 38.86 per cent rise in its revenue in the Q1 of FY 2011-12.
The company’s consolidated revenue has increased by 38.86 per cent to Rs 388.4 crores in the Q1 of FY 2011-12, against Rs 279.7 crores during the same corresponding period last year.
The company has earned the profit after tax (PAT) of Rs 30.9 crores in Q1 of FY 2011-12, against Rs 30.6 crores during the same corresponding period last year (Q1 of FY 2010-11).
The total EPC (Engineering procurement & Construction) backlog of the company (by June 30, 2011) was Rs 4,367 crores, out of which Rs 4,100 crores in highway and Rs 267 crores in Power T&D.
ABL is the major BOT operator in infrastructure projects like roads & highways.
The core strength of the ABL is BOT-based projects, EPC and Ready Mix Concrete production. It builds a highway projects based on BOT-basis and run it for a specific period before transferring it to a government agency.
