PHD Chamber in association with Ambala Scientific Instruments Manufacturers Association (ASIMA) is organising the 3rd edition of GLOBAL LAB EXPO-2012 in Ambala Cantt (200 kilometers north--west of Delhi on NH-1) from 1st to 3rd Dec 2012 in which more than 100 exhibitors will be putting up the stalls and eminent speakers from the field shall be giving lectures on latest concepts and technologies.

“The first two editions of Global Lab Expo organised in the year 2010, 2011 were a huge success and keeping up with the tradition and expectation of the members, the event is being organized on a larger scale”, said Amarjeet Singh, President ASIMA.

Ambala Cantt has a cluster of about 800 micro small and meduim scale units engaged in the manufacturing of scientific instruments. The 60 year old cluster had been languishing due to lack of technological upgradation. The initiative of Global Expo was taken to mobilise the manufacturers about the best practices in the trade.

The ASIMA spokesperson informed that the three day event to be inaugurated by T.L Satyaprakash, IAS, Director Industries, Haryana will showcase latest scientific, educational, electrical, electronic, test and measuring instruments in the Instrumentation Hub of Ambala Cantt and will encompass the entire gamut instrumentation required by Research Laboratories, Universities, Educational Institutions, Engineering Colleges, Medical Institutions and industrial establishments.

As per Dalip Sharma, Regional Director, PHD Chamber, “This show will provide the best opportunity to meet and do business with the key decision makers in this industry under one roof and will be an excellent opportunity for the exhibitors to build their brand image and network with their clients”.

Global Lab Expo is the only comprehensive exhibition for educational instruments in India having its focus on the latest trends and technology of the industry. “This kind of platform provides a direct and accurate access to the equipments, products and newly designed technologies in almost each sector of laboratory. It offers the exhibiting companies to present their innovations, products and services while allowing broad professional public and students to gain comprehensive information about the trends in laboratory, scientific, analytical and biotechnology equipments”, stated Singh.

Besides the manufacturers, dealers and the buyers, the event shall be very beneficial for teachers as well as students who can see the actual working of the different apparatus and demonstration models. It will provide them with an opportunity not only to learn about the latest products but also give their feedback to the manufacturer regarding the changes and improvements required in the products.

Another highlight of the event is the demonstrations by the Indian Association of Physics Teachers (IAPT) on various concepts applicable in Physics, chemistry, biology etc which shall increase the domain knowledge of the teachers, lecturers and the students.
