Healthcare company Astrazeneca Pharma reported a sharp fall in net profits to Rs 2.6 crore in the January-March quarter of financial year 2009-10. The company had posted net profit of Rs 22.08 crore in the October-December quarter of the financial year.
On a year-on-year basis the company's net profits in the corresponding quarter of FY 09 was Rs 7.2 crore.
Net sales in the Jan-March quarter of the financial year FY 10 was Rs 97.9 crore down from Rs 116.2 crore in the October-December quarter.
