A little more than a month after their global unveiling, Chinese smartphone manufacturer Asus on Thursday launched its Zenfone Series 4 in India – three of them models of the Zenfone 4 Selfie Pro and two variants of the Zenfone 4 Selfie – starting at Rs 9,999.
The Zenfone 4 Selfie series comes in three variants – two with dual cameras at the front (model numbers ZB553KL and ZD552KL), and one with a single camera set-up in front (ZD553KL). All three models will be available in India exclusively on Flipkart and will go on sale on September 21, the first day of the Flipkart Big Billion Days sale.
Of the three models, Selfie Pro is the most premium, coming with a 24 MP selfie camera and a 120-degree wide view selfie camera, and priced at Rs 23,999. The Selfie Pro, with an enhanced camera experience, replaces dual back cameras in earlier phones with the innovative dual-front-camera feature. At the rear, it packs in a 16MP camera with LED flash with RAW, 4K and electronic image stabilisation, capable of capturing 4k selfies videos.
The other two variants of the Zenfone 4 Selfie series with different model numbers (ZB553KL and ZD553KL) come, respectively, with 20MP and 13MP front cameras. However, ZB553KL comes with a single front camera and ZD553KL with a dual front camera. Both models come in three colours -- Deepsea Black, Sunlight Gold and Rose Gold. In terms of RAM strength,– the former comes with a 4 GB RAM and the latter with 3 GB.
While the ZenFone 4 Selfie Pro is powered by a 64-bit, 2GHz, octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor with 4GB RAM and 3000 mAh battery, the other two devices are powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor.
