"Having being recognised as one of the top 50 global cities, Chandigarh was an essential choice to mark our presence," Kumar Tanksale, manager, retail, system business group ASUS India, told Business Standard. Tanksale also said, "The northern region has a huge potential. Currently, we have five exclusive stores in Punjab, Haryana and Chandigarh. We have plans to increase our presence through exclusive stores, shop-in-shop and multi-brand stores. We will open 14 stores in the next two quarters in these states."
Out of the total, seven will be in Punjab, six in Haryana and one in Himachal Pradesh."
