Luxury car maker Audi India today reported a 35% jump in sales for October at 482 units.
The company had sold 357 units in the corresponding month last year, Audi India said in a statement.
During January-October period this year, the company's sales increased by 85.09% to 4,692 units from 2,535 units in the year-ago period, it added.
"This year is shaping into, what we believe will be, Audi's most successful year in India to date. We attribute this growth to our continued focus on introducing an energetic product line, qualitative network growth and strong brand pull," Audi India Head Michael Perschke said.
The company has launched six models this year and is focusing at strengthening its dealership network not only in metros, but also in Tier II and III cities, he added.
"With this exceptional performance, I am confident that we are well on our way to exceeding our sales targets of 5,000 cars this year," Perschke said.
