BackOffice Associates, a Goldman Sachs-backed company providing data migration and information governance solutions, has opened its global delivery centres (GDCs) in Hyderabad and Bengaluru.
"The Hyderabad and Bengaluru centres currently house 100 and 50 associates, respectively. Our Indian delivery operations have quadrupled in the past two years. We are planning to more than double the talent pool in the two centres over the next couple of years," said Krish Datta, chief executive officer (Asia-Pacific, Japan and West Asia) of BackOffice Associates.
Stating that the privately-held company and its wholly-owned subsidiary CPM Consulting's growth rate over the past few years has resulted in the organisation expanding its current delivery centres and opening larger offshore facilities in Hyderabad and Bengaluru, Datta said the company had also decided to extend research and development initiatives in India to focus on product development and support.
BackOffice Associates currently has nine GDCs across the globe. While 55 per cent of its revenues flow in from North America, Asia-Pacific and Japan, and Europe account for the remainder, he added.
