Baddi-based Hycron Electronics has won the Winsome Quality Pathfinder Award in the Seventh North-West QualTech Awards for excellence in Quality, hosted at Mohali (Punjab), while Jabli (Himachal Pradesh)-based Cosmo Ferrites and Jalandhar-based Doaba Co-Operative Milk Producers Union were the first and second runners up, respectively, in the Small Business Category (with a turnover of less than Rs 150 crore).
Also, Trident Quality Pioneer Award for medium business category (with a turnover between Rs 150 crore and Rs 500 crore) was won by Winsome Textile Industries (Baddi) with Up Hi-Tech Gears (Bhiwadi) as the first runner-up and Baddi-based Auro Spinning Mills as the second runner-up.
