Bajaj Auto has reported a 1.4% increase in consolidated net profit at Rs 191.73 crore for the third quarter ended December 31, 2004 when compared with Rs 189.07 crore in Q3FY04.According to a release issued to the BSE today, consolidated net sales increased to Rs 1,701.42 crore from Rs 1,378.01 crore.Bajaj Auto, on standalone basis, has posted a net profit after prior-period adjustment of Rs 182.01 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2004 as against Rs 180.47 crore in Q3FY04.Total income increased to Rs 1,692.55 crore from Rs 1,371.91 crore, the release added.
