Bajaj Holdings & Investment today said its consolidated net profit rose by 91.14 per cent to Rs 500.98 crore for the third quarter ended December 31, 2010, over the same period previous fiscal.
The company had a net profit of Rs 262.1 crore in the same period last fiscal, Bajaj Holdings & Investment said in a statement.
The company's total income stood at Rs 265.3 crore for the third quarter ended December 31, compared to Rs 133 crore in the same period last fiscal.
On a standalone basis, the company reported a net profit of Rs 246.28 crore for the third quarter, compared to Rs 114.90 crore in the same period last fiscal.
Shares of Bajaj Holdings & Investment today closed at Rs 736.10 on the Bombay Stock Exchange, down 1.60 per cent from its previous close.
