"With this new bike, we plan to tap the mileage segment of bikes in the market. Our current market share in this segment is 18% and we plan to substantially acquire more share. We are expecting big volumes from Discover 100 M. We sold around 350 bikes on Dushehra day alone," he added.
The bike is priced at Rs. 45,996 (ex-showroom Delhi). The company will build 35,000 bikes in October and around 40,000 bikes will be manufactured in the month of November. Bajaj Auto will launch 2 more bikes on the same platform in the coming eight months' time.
