Country's second largest two-wheeler maker Bajaj Auto today reported a 6.47 per cent rise in its motorcycle sales in September at 2,17,365 units, against 2,04,152 units in the same month last year.
Total two-wheelers sales during the month stood at 2,18,494 units, a jump of 5.96 per cent over the corresponding month last year, BAL said in a statement.
The company had sold 2,06,208 units of two-wheelers in the year-ago period.
BAL's exports rose to 68,572 units in September from 48,048 units, up 42.72 per cent, in the same period last year.
