To counter low sales growth of two-wheeler, Bajaj Auto Finance introduced new retail financial initiative. The company introduced a 7.99 per cent low interest retail finance scheme nationwide across 300 Bajaj dealers to revive sales in short-term.
Other than introducing a new loan scheme Bajaj Auto also intends to counter this trend by an intense product initiative that will see launch of a new motorcycle each month for six months begining January 2009.
The company in a press statement said, the two-wheeler sales were down sharply refletcing both an accelerated slowdown in demand as also the immediate correction in dealer inventories. The latter action shall continue into December 2008, said the company.
The company also stated thet three-wheeler sales were also stagnant refletcing the sundued state of commercial vehicle industry.
