Balaji Telefilms has posted 21% decline in net profits at Rs 9.64 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2005 as compared to Rs 12.33 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2004. According to a release issued to the BSE, total income has increased from Rs 49.02 crore in Q4-04 to Rs 56.84 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2005.Balaji Telefilms has also reported a 25% drop in net profit at Rs 41.29 crore for the year ended March 31, 2005 as compared to Rs 55.40 crore for the year ended March 31, 2004. Total income has increased from Rs 184.44 crore in FY-04 to Rs 201.68 crore for the year ended March 31, 2005.The board has considered the interim dividend of Rs 16 per share paid during the year as the final dividend for the year ended March 31, 2005.
