BAPL signs MoU with Changi Airports International

Bengal Aerotropolis Projects Limited (BAPL), today signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Singapore's Changi Airports International (CAI) to conduct feasibility studies on setting up an aviation training academy in West Bengal.

The MoU was signed in presence of West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee, who is visiting Singapore on her maiden foreign business trip.

The ITE Education Services (ITEES), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Institute of Technical Education in Singapore, will be a key training partner of CAI. CAI is also the leading promoter of BAPL which is setting up an airport at Andal near Durgapur in West Bengal.
