Barista to open more outlets

Barista Coffee Company Limited is planning to expand the number of its Espresso Bars and Espresso Corners in the country from the existing 130 to 170.

The company also has plans to open four more Barista Creme outlets by March this year. The company's expansion plan involves an investment of Rs 25 crore.

Addressing a press conference on the occasion of opening its Barista Creme Cafe here on Thursday, company's chief executive officer, Partha Dattagupta, said the new concept store was the second of its kind to be opened in the country. The first one was launched in Delhi in July, last year.
