Bartronics India Ltd, a provider of barcode and RFID technology services, reported a 60 per cent increase in net profit in the quarter ended March 31, 2011, to Rs 46.1 crore, compared with Rs 28.8 crore in the corresponding period last year. Revenues grew 10.3 per cent to Rs 292.29 crore (from Rs 264.93 crore).
For the fiscal 2010-11, net profit was up 12.7 per cent to Rs 118.43 crore, from Rs 105.12 crore in 2009-10. Revenues rose 11 per cent to Rs 906.97 crore (Rs 817.03 crore). The company is in the process of restructuring into four entities to focus on identification, banking, citizen services and for its Asian operations, a company release said.
