BASF net jumps 15%

BASF India, the Indian arm of the world's leading chemical company BASF, has reported a 15.4 per cent rise in profit after tax (PAT) to Rs 19.87 crore for the quarter ended June 30 compared with Rs 17.2 crore in the same period of the previous financial year.
 
The company reported an increase of 15.7 per cent in net sales to Rs 271.69 crore (Rs 234.71 crore). Profit before tax went up by 15.6 per cent.
 
BASF India is engaged in the business of manufacturing and marketing of Styropor branded tanning agents, leather chemicals and auxiliaries and a wide range of speciality chemicals for various industries.
