Chemicals manufacturer BASF India has posted a net profit of Rs 24.09 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2007, up 18 % from Rs 20.37 crore in the quarter ended September 30, 2006. Total income increased 16.71 % to Rs 256.49 crore from Rs 219.76 crore in the comparable quarter of the last fiscal, according to the unaudited financial results released by the company to the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).
