Bharat Earth Movers (BEML) today posted a 5% increase in net profit at Rs 183.39 crore for the year ended March 31, 2006 when compared with Rs 175.28 crore in FY05.According to a release issued by the company to the BSE today, total income increased to Rs 2,123.72 crore in FY06 from Rs 1,791.57 crore in FY05.The company posted a net profit of Rs 86.12 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2006 as against Rs 126.33 crore in Q4FY05. Total income increased to Rs 836.58 crore in Q4FY06 from Rs 754.14 crore in Q4FY05.
