After launching its high-end fashion range of stores, Sisley, in Delhi last October, Benetton India will launch three to four more stores by end of 2007.

Presently, it has two stores in Delhi and will launch a third one there in a couple of months.

Speaking on the company's plans, Managing Director Gagan Singh said, "Benetton India plans to gradually spread out its Sisley brand across the country, beginning with metros like Mumbai and Bangalore. We will launch three to four Sisley stores by 2007-end."

Singh had recently announced that the company was planning to double its United Colors of Benetton (UCB), a young and trendy wardrobe brand, chain of stores from the present three stores in Gujarat. However, Singh denied any such plans of doubling UCB stores across the country.

According to Singh, presently Benetton India imports over 300 styles of high-end fashion wear for its Sisley stores from Italy.

However, the company would gradually look for manufacturing certain styles of clothes in India for Sisley "without compromising upon quality or finish provided the volume justified it", added Singh.

Meanwhile, Singh denied there were any plans to launch Killer-Loop and Play Life brands of Benetton in India until next year. The prices at Sisley stores ranges from Rs 699 to Rs 19,999, said Singh.
