BGR Energy Systems today said it has bagged two orders worth Rs 30 crore for Adani Power's projects in Maharashtra and Rajasthan.
The orders won by BGR Energy Systems' Environmental Engineering Division are worth about Rs 30 crore.
In a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange, BGR Energy said the orders are to "design, engineer, manufacture, supply and commission two Condensate Polishing Units (CPU) for Adani Power Maharashtra Ltd's upcoming super critical power projects at Tiroda (2x660 MW, Maharashtra) and Kawai (2x660 MW, Rajasthan)".
CPU in power plants prevents returning steam condensate contaminants and corrosion products from entering into the plant's boilers and turbines.
The orders have been awarded by Powergen Infrastructure (LLC) UAE.
According to the company, these orders were secured in the face of intense competition from Chinese and Indian CPU vendors.
