According to a release issued by Bharat Earth Movers to the BSE, the Planning Commission has agreed, in-principle, to grant Rs 108 crore for building the infrastructure. "There will be transfer of technology from a global leader to produce metro coaches," the release added.
The Planning Commission has granted an amount of Rs 25 crore out of Rs 108 crore during the current fiscal, the release said.
