Bharat Forge bags 'Outstanding Organisation' award

The awards presentation function was held in Chennai on Saturday. "We are pursuing to become the number one forging company in the world. We supply to 38 global automotive original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and Tier-I suppliers. At the end of this decade, half-a-dozen Indian companies will become world leaders in their industry segments," said Baba Kalyani, chairman and managing director of Bharat Forge, in his acceptance speech on receiving the award for 'Outstanding Organisation'.

The company has emerged as the number two forging company in the world.

The award for 'Outstanding Quality Man' went to C Narasimhan, president (automotive products) of Sundaram Clayton. The company has won various other quality awards including the 'Deming Prize'.
