The Tiruchirappalli complex of Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) has recorded a 10.84 per cent dip in its profit before tax at Rs 148 crore for the year ended March 31, 2005 as against Rs 166 crore in the same period last year. |
According to a company release, it registered a 13.2 per cent jump in revenues for the fiscal ended March 31, 2005 at Rs 2,394 crore, compared to the Rs 2,078 crore that it earned in the same period last year. |

In 2004-05, BHEL, Tiruchirappalli, bagged orders worth Rs 3,944 crore.Talking about the growth plans for the Tiruchirappalli complex, Mathur said that the current strong order book and project commitments would require the turnover to grow by approximately 50 per cent in the current financial year. |
