BigAdda.com, the online youth network from the Anil Dhirubhai Ambani Group’s stable, plans to add film promotions and photo backup options to the mobile version of its social networking site — MobileAdda.
The company is currently developing photo backup applications for the mobile service, which will be launched in a couple of months.
The registration for MobileAdda is now through GPRS.
The company will introduce registration through SMS in a month’s time, Nikhil Soman, chief technology officer, BigAdda, told mediapersons.
"We are actively pursuing Bollywood, Telugu and Tamil industries to introduce video streaming of film trailers. This, however, will happen next year," he added.
BigAdda on Tuesday introduced MobileAdda, which includes key features of social networking like searching for friends, inviting them from your phonebook, communicating with friends through options like text, voice and photo scribbles.
