Motorcycle sales continued to grow in January, with the smaller and medium-sized players reporting much sharper growth rates than the larger players.
In January, LML and the south-based TVS Motor Company reported a sales growth of 198.7 per cent and 32.5 per cent, respectively.
While market leader Hero Honda today reported a sales growth of a modest 6.6 per cent, second largest player Bajaj Auto had announced a 19.8 per cent growth on Saturday. Yamaha, Kinetic Engineering and Royal Enfield Motors have not released their sales figures.
