BMW Motorrad, the motorcycle business unit of German auto maker BMW, will launch its range of superbikes in India by December. The bikes will be produced at the company’s Berlin plant and shipped to India as completely built units. They will be sold through Deutsche Motoren in Delhi and Navnit Motors in Mumbai and also through an outlet in Bangalore. BMW Motorrad will initially offer the current models of the ‘R’ from the Enduro series and ‘K’ from the Sports series as well as the superbike S1000 RR, all of which are premium vehicles in each of the relevant categories, the company said in a statement.
