BMW, the German automaker, will trap the luxury car market in Chhattisgarh that is emerging as a dream destination for investment.
“The state has a good potential that the company has envisage and decided to open a fully integrated dealership in Raipur,” Philipp Von Sahr, President of BMW Group India, told reporters here on Thursday.
The new Munich Motors dealership has an ultra-modern showroom integrated with an after-sales service facility featuring service bays and a spare parts inventory. The show room can display 7 cars and the workshop is equipped with 10 service bays that can service upto 40 cars per day.
“BMW India is committed towards the development of a BMW dealer network of international standards at all important commercial centre centre across the country,” Sahr said, adding that Raipur continues to play an important role in BMW’s market offensive and with the launch of new facility, BMW will continue to set new benchmarks in the premier car market in the region.
Chhattisgarh, endowed with rich minerals, is emerging as a potential destination for the investors. The work on a large number of proposals in the steel, power, cement and down stream industries is going on.
Seeing the entry of corporate, the luxury car market in the region is likely to see a boom.
