Britannia Industries has posted a 11% rise in net profit to Rs 29.7 crore for the third quarter ended December 31, 2004 as compared to Rs 26.8 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2003. According to a release issued to the BSE, the total income (net of excise) has increased from Rs 364.7 crore in Q3-03 to Rs 385.8 crore for quarter ended December 31, 2004.
